Introduction
A word about the passages and questions that follow. Some of them are harder than
you will find on the GAMSAT paper (somewhat harder, not astronomically so). There’s
a good reason for that. It’s not just that athletes always practice on tougher training
grounds than the ones they will have to perform on during the day of the race, it’s
that the GradMed questions have been specially designed to teach you the
finer points of verbal reasoning, not just to give you the outcome of a score. You
have to take the course, of course, to get the benefit of that teaching, but its
worth it, because once you learn to deal with the demands of the GradMed papers,
GAMSAT is a piece of cake. Meanwhile, here are some samples…..
These questions have been created to reflect the current standard of GAMSAT. To
emulate the ‘real’ timing of the test you should aim to complete this section in
50 minutes. You can pause and resume the test timer at any point, although leaving
this page will restart the test completely. Click on 'Finish the Test' to see a
summary of how you did.
