How long do you need to study for GAMSAT?
This of course depends on your initial level of background knowledge and understanding of key scientific concepts. For students from a non-science background, you should probably plan for a six month journey to fully understand the key science concepts, and more importantly develop the advance reasoning skills the GAMSAT requires. If you are from a scientific background, then you will need to focus on the more unfamiliar theory but most importantly work on the reasoning skills the exam requires. This can probably be achieved over three months of study. Of course developing the language skills required for section 1 and 2 may take 6 months or longer, as becoming ‘well read’ takes time.
