GAMSAT Courses Ireland - Live Online and in Person

Designed to prepare students from every background, our courses will always be able to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the GAMSAT. We use only the same specialist tutors for each section, and in each of the sciences, who teach on our London courses. Our teaching resources, including well over 5000 pages of notes and 8000 simulated questions, have been developed since 2002 for this unique test. Our resources have not been re branded from unrelated MCAT material as with many of our competitors.

Full Preparation Course 2025 – Weekends Saturday January 4th to Sunday March 16th 2025

Running for three months we teach all of the core material and develop the extensive reasoning skills the exam requires. Students are provided with extensive pre-course reading and guidance, and have full access to the Course Director and Head Tutors at all times after enrollment. The aim is to provide a full holistic preparation where help is always available and questions never go unanswered

Although GAMSAT is not a knowledge test ACER are clear that a core understanding of the principles of the sciences is a prerequisite to success in the examination. As they state, ‘The level of subject knowledge required for the Reasoning in Biological and Physical Sciences section of the test generally corresponds to the first year of university studies in biology and chemistry, and A-level/Leaving Certificate/Year 12 in physics.’

On our full preparation course, we focus on teaching the core knowledge and principles required across all of the sciences, including all of the skills content listed below on our Intensive skills programme. We have built our syllabus and topic areas based on direct experience of the examination over the past 23 years. The emphasis is understanding core concepts and at the same time applying this to past questions and understanding the skills and intellectual traits they are examining. Often the topic areas used on GAMSAT are obscure and almost impossible to rationalise by studying alone and we aim to show you not just the style but the type of source material the examination makes use of.

The course runs on Weekends from Saturday January 4th to Sunday March 16th 2025

Written Communication and Verbal Reasoning - Weekends Saturday January 4th to Sunday March 16th 2025

Many people lose sight of the fact that 50% of your GAMSAT score comes from your language abilities in the form of Verbal Reasoning for Section 1 and your essays for Section 2.

On this course we will take you through the core component forms of sources used to test skills on Section 1 - Poetry, Cartoons, Archaic language, Literature, Interpreting Scientific studies and many others. In addition, we will produce a personalised approach to responding to any GASMAT essay topics, which have in recent years become more obscure and so less easily pre-preparable. Our head of section 2 (a 97 scorer in this section) will also provide personalised and detailed feedback on 15 of your essays during the course.

Building on our 20 years of GAMSAT experience and extensive materials and question banks, all students attending the Full Preparation courses receive full access to our unique online learning centre. Mathematics for Science - January 2025

Many Section III questions rely on good numerical skills and the application of these to a range of theory across all of the sciences. Although the level of mathematics required is not necessarily advanced, it is crucial that you can deal quickly with standard form, logs, straight-line graphs, logarithmic graphs, linearising equations and many other such techniques.

Here we spend 2 full days analysing all of the common mathematical techniques you will encounter on the GAMSAT Examination. The focus is the application to simulated questions from our extensive question banks. We will show you how to use Mathematics as a tool to boost your overall score. Whilst mathematics itself is not tested in the exam, the course and accompanying 57 page book will equip you with an invaluable tool set moving your score in the right direction.
