Is the GAMSAT harder than the UCAT?

GAMSAT is generally considered a much harder exam than the UCAT. This is partly because it has a high level of assumed scientific knowledge (to first year undergraduate level) and because it tests a much wider range of skills than the UCAT. You need to demonstrate both scientific knowledge and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal reasoning and language skills. The UCAT is seen more as a general aptitude test which is in reality very difficult to ‘study’ for.
