What is the lowest GAMSAT score to get into medicine?
For most medical schools, a score of at least 50 in each section is required. Most medical schools will simply use the overall GAMSAT score (as calculated by ACER) as part of the admissions criteria, but some will use the individual section scores. To be competitive in the UK an overall GAMSAT score of around 59 is required, although this fluctuates from around 57 to 63 and changes year to year. In Ireland the scores range from around 54 (Limerick) to 63 (RCSI) but again change to a small extent year to year.
